Snow has come to San Francisco (a little bit, anyway) -- be safe out there today. An advisory is in effect until noon for some counties.

Dear Congressman Walsh:
A few days ago one of your supporters called and asked for my support of you for Speaker of the House. She said that we needed a conservative to replace Mrs. Pelosi.
I told your supporter that I would visit your web-site and get back with your staff.
Mrs. Pelosi needs to be replaced by a conservative, but I do not feel you meet my requirements for that position, because of the things I did not see on your web-site.
Conservatives are begging for conservative leaders and all we are getting is economics, and not conservative principles. The only social issue you mentioned in on your web-site was English as the official language of the United States.
There are three major issues and foundations of conservatism that conservatives have been fighting for since the 1960’s, the first of which my family tells me is a lost cause on my part.
They are:
1. Put God, prayer, and our Christian heritage back in the schools, courts and government.
2. Abolish abortion and recognize the rights of the unborn.
3. Recognize that marriage is the union between a man and a woman.
Your web-site was completely politically correct, which has cost you my support and, as far as I am able to argue against you, the support of my family and friends.
In my mind you are either on the other side of these issues or are ashamed of being associated with conservatives like me.
