Great "letter to the editor" published yesterday out of Alabama discussing the transparency (or lack of transparency) in Washington.
"I remember watching President Barack Obama state that the entire debate on health care would be carried on C-span. This did not happen. Actually, the Democrats changed the locks on some of the doors in the Capitol building. They had their meetings and discussions behind closed doors. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been deeply involved in this gagging process, and it was she who stated, “We will have civility” under her leadership. This lady is the most uncivilized person ever to be speaker of the House."

I bet he’s heard Pelosi’s rant to the House at the end of 2008? She is supposed to be the Speaker of the House, not the Speaker of the Democrats - and yet there she was before an extremely important vote, blaming Republicans for all the economy’s problems.
Civility is nonexistent in Pelosi’s planet.
And they didn’t even give us a chance to read it either
