republicans need to wake up - HEALTH CARE REFORM IS NOT DEAD!
We need to make sure it’s dead for good, not just being done in secret backroom deals!
I think it was a disgrace for the Republicans to kill much needed reform. Being the party of “no” won’t take you very far.
Republicans need to realize that the current health care system in the US is on a path of bankrupting way too many Americans. yes, even those in trailer parks!! When you owe 45K on a 25K trailer, you’re in trouble! The Democrats are trying to figure a way out for you.
The Republicans are saying, yeah well, your own fault, live with it. Or die. They don’t care. They don’t even want to give you basic health care, which is what the Democrats would want you to have. To be able to go to a doctor, not to some emergency room.
Just imagine - you go to a doctor, to a hospital, and you won’t owe a damn thing. It’s just part of living, you won’t ever have to worry about any kinda bill.
Everything is paid for. Period.
Now, does that sound pretty good to you? Or does it sound like some horrible system that’s only out there to get you?
To me, not having insurance at all, I have to say that it sounds pretty good to me!!!
The Republicans did the same thing with the Bush tax cut, among many other things. That’s what happens when one party uses the filibuster to block legislation. Politics can be ruthless, but at least we finally have someone our side being ruthless. It’s too important an issue to roll over and play dead on. I encourage President Obama and Speaker Pelosi to do what THE PEOPLE want!
