I am glad we’re not the party of yes: yes, you are entitled to government money; yes, we will hold your hand through every step of life; yes, we will regulate and impose; yes, we will nationalize healthcare…
I want the GOP to be the party of “no” to more government!
I’m relieved that we are the party of no!! NO you can’t “change” our country into something our parents wouldn’t recognize! No You can NOT IGNORE the constitution! The government has LIMITED - “enumerated powers”, WE the People are NOT bestowed rights From the government, WE allow the government to do some things, NOT the other way around. This seems to be forgotten / re-written by the democrats.
Geri, you’re exactly right. America has been about negative rights for years, while Europe has emphasized positive rights - and now we’re leaning the other way! People who are dependent on government will have the hardest time understanding that they own it.
OBAMA GIVING HIMSELF A- - B FOR HIS FIRST YEAR,WHAT A JOKE. THATS LIKE JOHN KARRY GIVING HIMSELF METALS IN VIETNAM, OR PELOSI SAYING ( NO MORE PORK ). YOU MIGHT AS WELL SAY BARNEY FRANK IS HONORABLE.
