Harry Reid has been talking about Republicans being the party of "No." Mike DeNunzio, former Chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party, has written a great response to Reid's assertions. Read below:

I’m relieved that we are the party of no!!  NO you can’t “change” our country into something our parents wouldn’t recognize! No You can NOT IGNORE the constitution! The government has LIMITED - “enumerated powers”, WE the People are NOT bestowed rights From the government, WE allow the government to do some things, NOT the other way around. This seems to be forgotten / re-written by the democrats.

Geri, you’re exactly right. America has been about negative rights for years, while Europe has emphasized positive rights - and now we’re leaning the other way! People who are dependent on government will have the hardest time understanding that they own it.
