Over the next week, we want to focus on health care reform - on Democrat mistruths and on real solutions.
Our health care issues page features a six-part series on health care reform. We will focus on Part 1 today: Democrats’ Urgency Fraud and Squelching Debate
Read an excerpt from the paper:
This places the burden of proving why and what change is necessary squarely on the Democrats. Yet they shift it to Republicans. When Republicans say "no" to laws that will nationalize health care, they are pilloried as ignorant, obstructionist slugs. By diverting attention away form the issues and their inability to prove the merit of their ideas, Democrats get away with pretending urgency.

If it were so urgent, they would have pushed harder for it after they regained their majorities, not just after Obama came in.
I think it’s obvious that health care reform is urgent - we have tens of MILLIONS of citizens uninsured!! The longer we wait, the longer these people cannot afford good health care, and the longer they put strain on our emergency rooms - eventually, the camel’s back will break.
