As Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi resort to reconciliation to pass one of the largest reform bills in history--a reform bill that we the people don't even know what provisions it contains--demand that Nancy Pelosi and the rest of Congress be stopped.

My Reaction: California Republican Assembly

Mar 09, 2010

The California Republican Assembly Convention last weekend gave me a great opportunity to meet one-on-one with the Party faithful.

My goal was to introduce myself to as many attendees as I could; as important as it is to get our message out, it is every bit as important to listen.  Citizens want to be heard and I was given plenty of ideas to think about and information to review.

The message that ‘Nancy Pelosi Must Go” was a common theme.  The strong-arm tactics employed by Pelosi were certainly discussed, but the bigger issue was that Health Care Reform – as presented in the current legislation – is totally unacceptable. And there was the recognition that this is just one battle in the war against big government.  Equally dreadful legislation on Cap and Trade, Immigration Reform and The Fairness Doctrine are next on the Democrat Agenda.

My remarks at the after-dinner event on Saturday night were well received and brought us additional endorsements and volunteers. I’m looking forward to the CRP Convention this weekend and plan to build on the momentum created at the CRA. Hope to see you there!

David Kiachko Endorses Dana Walsh for Congress

Mar 01, 2010

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - David Kiachko, twice elected member of the San Francisco Republican County Central Committee, announces his endorsement of Dana Walsh's campaign for Congress in California's 8th District.

"I wholeheartedly support Dana Walsh in her run for Congress against Nancy Pelosi. She is a fiscal conservative that will fight to bring sanity back to our spending policies and reduce the debt being placed on our grandchildren," said David in his endorsement.

He continued by praising her conservative approach to national security, "I especially appreciate that Dana is the only individual in the race who fully understands the terror threat to the United States and the importance of defending the Patriot Act. She is also the only Republican in the race who, while looking forward to the day our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan can be brought home safely, agrees with John McCain and General McChrystal that a cut and run policy, in both Iraq and Afghanistan, will jeopardize the safety of both our troops and the United States. Dana will work hard to protect our economy and our safety."

Dana is pleased to have the endorsement of an outstanding businessman and well-rounded person. David Kiachko was raised in several countries in Asia and graduated from Seoul American High School.  He attended Claremont College and the University of San Francisco, graduating with a degree in business with an emphasis in finance and international trade.

After several years of marketing large mainframe computers, David moved back to Asia where he managed an international trading company in South Korea. He worked and lived there for eight years before returning to San Francisco where David has been working in the field of financial investments.

Politically, David has been involved in numerous election campaigns and has served as a member of the California Republican Party. He is a twice elected member of the San Francisco Republican County Central Committee from the 12th Assembly District. His endorsement of Dana's run against Nancy Pelosi is a natural union as they are both passionate about bringing common sense politics to San Francisco.
