Grading President Obama

Posted by Team Walsh - Mon, December 14, 2009 at 10:35 PM

In a Sunday interview, President Obama gave himself a "solid B-plus" on his first year in office. He also said the grade would move up to an A- if health care reform passes.

Dana disagrees with an expensive, government-run health care solution. Read more on Dana's position on health care reform and the bill's dangers here.

Exactly why government shouldn’t be able to grade themselves!

And about your issues page, let me just say: wow! I rarely see so much time devoted to gathering information and varying opinions. It’s obvious that health care is something you’re concerned about.

And my favorite line out of your white paper on healthcare solutions:

“Covering everybody for every imaginable medical need only helps the government get votes by pandering to the needs (wants) of all constituencies.”

Reminds me a little bit of the “tax cuts for 95% of Americans” pledge - essentially selling yourself to the Public.

This health care thing just keeps getting crazier and crazier - and it’s costing Pelosi and the Democrats all of their political capital. Today I read that she is assuring Democrats that there will be no controversial legislation in the House in 2010 unless it’s started by the Senate. You can bet that as soon as the election is over they will push card check, amnesty, and (if it’s not done yet) health care.
