Gilchrist Supports Walsh's Five Point Plan
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Today Dana Walsh, candidate for U.S. Congress in California's Eighth District, proudly announced that the founder of Minutemen, Jim Gilchrist, has endorsed her candidacy.
Walsh won this important endorsement due to her recently published 5 Point Plan for ending illegal immigration and her strong stand on securing our borders, denying illegals any form of amnesty and cracking down on taxpayer funded benefits that attract illegals to the United States.
"This endorsement proves that I am the strongest candidate to take on Nancy Pelosi on amnesty. I have not wavered on my position," said Walsh.
Last month Walsh released a plan for tackling the illegal immigration problem that has been especially hard hitting in California. Her Five-Point Plan includes:
- Ending the "Catch and Release" policy, making expedited removal of illegal aliens mandatory
- Mandatory employer verification of worker eligibility to work in the United States and stiff punitive penalties for knowingly hiring illegal workers. Prohibiting illegal aliens from any access to Social Security benefits.
- Limit birthright citizenship to the children of United States citizens and legal permanent residents.
- End all loopholes in federal laws that benefit illegal aliens and those who profit from their illegal presence in the United States.
Jim Gilchrist stated, "Dana Walsh has a Five Point Plan that will solve the nation's illegal immigration problem. You can trust her when she says she will demand the Federal Government to enforce our laws and our borders. Unlike her opponent Nancy Pelosi who has stated that enforcing immigration laws was "un-American", Dana Walsh has a committed stand on the issues of immigration reform and border security. California needs someone in DC that will fight on behalf of taxpayers to end the influx of illegal aliens in America and that is why I wholeheartedly endorse Dana Walsh for US Congress."
Jim Gilchrist founded the multi-ethnic Minuteman Project on Oct. 1, 2004, after years of frustrated efforts trying to get a neglectful U.S. government to simply enforce existing immigration laws. He has been interviewed over 4000 times on the issues of illegal immigration and border security, is the author of an essay in the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal, as well an author of "Minuteman: The Battle to Secure America's Borders" co-written with New York Times Best Selling Author Dr. Jerome Corsi.

Thank you for standing up against the special interests to grant AMNESTY to illegals. I love your 5 point plan!
